COMPARING THE CEREAL GRASSES

Nutritionally, all the cereal grasses are virtually identical and the juices can be used interchangeably.  It is easiest to think about the grasses like other fruits and vegetables.  When you buy oranges, you may get navel oranges or valencia oranges...both make tasty juice...the same but different.  Tomatoes also comes in many types and you will probably be surprised to hear that there are over 7,500 different varieties of apples.  The type made available is shaped by the location plus seasonal factors while the quality of the product will be driven by the skill and craftsmanship of the maker.

In 2012, the best grass juices are wheatgrass and in particular, oat grass.  The climate in 2012 has been temperate (lower seasonal temperatures) with high levels of precipitation.  These conditions were extremely favorable to our oat crop because oats thrive in cooler weather and embrace heavy rains better than other cereals such as wheat, rye or barley.  You will find our oat grass juice to be fantastic with good taste.  We suggest you experiment with it, use it to add variety, mix it with your wheatgrass juice to complement it or even substitute it.

The primary attraction to all of the cereal grasses (including wheatgrass and oat grass) is that we know they are singularly life sustaining.  This is verified through simple observation of ruminant species (i.e. cows) who thrive on grasses.  The food energy propels them to over 1,000 pounds, allows them to calve, raise their family and do so while producing enormous amount of milk with the excess energy they have obtained.  Using the same simple observations, you will also realize that the grasses are unique.  Not one of the thousands of products found in your local grocery store or health food store can make the claim of being singularly life sustaining. 

What's Important:  You Must Have Juice, It Must Be Kept Raw & Living

Taste Profile

Oat Grass Juice has a slightly different taste profile.  It starts sweeter and ends with a slight peppery finish.  You may notice the taste difference between it and wheatgrass juice in your first glass.  By your second use you will have forgotten the difference.
