We work very hard to prevent the juice from being “denatured” or “degraded” in any way. The things to avoid are heat, exposure to air and elasped time. We manage all of these items in order to produce terrific juice.
To avoid production heat, we use specialized slow speed wheatgrass juicers. These juicers are called “masticating” juicers and they simulate chewing the vegetable fibres to break up the plant cells.
This results in more fibre, enzymes, vitamins and trace minerals. Masticating juicers are the most efficient method of expressing juice from the wheatgrass and provide the additional benefit of operating at slow speeds (RPMs) which results in less foam, less heat and more nutrition in your glass.
